Recently has been in touch some long lost friends and seems everybody is so much enjoy being in corporate world because of all the freebies and all the benefits inherit in the corporate culture. The good always folded with bad thing. The things i always see through is when you got all the luxury, be appreciative; when you don't have all the luxury, then you work harder to earn it. I have been in small company most of my career life except now. So to me, everything looks luxury, even to search for a humble heart is a challenge. Agreed by my circle of friends. We started to see the neccesity of surviving skill in a corporate world. Mean to say, reality is we got to shield ourselves whenever and whereever. Shield is for protection, not for pretention. I always forgot to put on my shield for protection. I am the kind of person that tend to forgive and forget. And therefore i started to think if i was left behind in this corporate world. A layman that know nothing but try to earn the credit by hardwork. How much is it to be done? HOw much is it that not done yet?
By character, i think i fit well into the corp. By way of getting things done, i think i need more kick start as is totally different models of mechanism to learn by. For my friends who are like me in this corporate world, are so well trained already to fit in with aspect of capability. Surviving skill is indivualistic, and should be discovered by personality and mentality. A person with more of observance may have a better structure of surviving skill than a person who just work to earn more.

Malaysia under Umno was, is and will forever be a basket case. What we see now as development and progress are merely internal consumption.
Unless the government commits to real change and wiping out of the current rot in Umno, Malaysia is slowly but surely spiraling downwards towards being a pariah country.
The problem in Malaysia is, we shouldn't have independence from British at very first place. How nice it will be if Queen appoints someone calibre person in Malaysia like Satyanand. God Bless Malaysia!

Man, don't forget the same southern neighbour is also having an Indian as president. Not for a single term. Now he is on his second term as president. This is called transparency!
The so-called unity in this country is very much superficial. There are only two reasons why it appears this way to the outsider.
1. Anyone that says anything about the Umno malay deems racial will be thrown to jail under ISA.
2. As general, people appreciate the harmony and peace in this country. Especially with all the terrorist attacks and wars all over the world.
As for a reason a true "Malaysian" race will not happen, there is only one. As long as the discrimination and separation of "bumis" and "non-bumis" exist. People will be automatically very conscious about their ethnic race.
The logic is simple, the more discrimination, the more conscious about their place in society and the more conscious about protecting the benefit of their ethnic race.
Once this "bumis" and "non-bumis" status is abolished and everyone is equal, citizens will automatically merged into one Malaysian race.
The cause is that Malaysia and Malaysians still prefer to have race-based political parties to rule this country.
Then, what you get are politicians who gain power using race-issues, and politician-wannabes like the upstart son-in-law playing dangerous claptrap racial politics to be in the limelight.
In a multiracial country like Malaysia, where Malaysians political maturity is just out of infancy, Malaysians become easy suckers and convenient victims of dangerous racial politics, including the manifestation of keris-wielding dramatics in public by minister come from these race-based political parties.
Initially three main component parties in BN were formed to show British that we, as the citizens of this land are unite and we want and can be independent.
After the 513 incident and the introduction of NEP, the focus of each party changes to protect benefit of the race that represent under the segregation "bumis" and "non-bumis" status.
To me, Pak Lah focus on wrong direction, he is more like a "ketua kampung" than a prime minister. Prime minister should focus on making the country strong and able to compete internationally, and let the real "ketua kampung" worry about asking people to be polite, etc.
Can anyone blame those dissolution people for not flying the flag on independence day? To me, there is really nothing to celebrate about. We seem to be worst off in terms of racial polarization with each passing year.
Racism in Malaysia is apparent to anyone who has eyes! Malays are just a bunch of cripples who will collapse to the ground if their tongkat is taken away.
Remove their constitutional rights, their 7% discount on houses, their 30% equity in companies, their quota system in public universities etc……….what is left?
Only a bunch of malays begging in gutters or worse, they may have to eat pork to survive!
It is true NEP has its good and its bad points depending on whose view you are looking at it.
The non-malays have been straddled with this law for a long time and I can see lots of dissatisfaction emerging from their rank. This can be seen by the ever-increasing number of emigration taking place as well as non-returning students from abroad.
I cannot start to call them traitors, as some of the malays here seem to imply on them. Put yourself in their shoe first and feel the full effect of the discrimination for over 30 years……….Do you think you will be happy? Anybody?
Want to know why the non-malays are all running away from Malaysia for greener pasture as malays call traitors and rats? Know that even rats must be wise to jump ship when the ship is sinking.
The government has been pushing the unity theme for Malaysia for a long time - the so called Bangsa Malaysia. How do you unite people? How are you going to unite people of different races where one race enjoys more rights than other races? Unity can never happen if there is inequality.
So, if you don't want people to comment on your special rights, then don't talk about unity in front of the non-malays.
The next reason why the non-malays keep on condemning the special rights is because of the implementation of it. Does every malay has the chance to enjoy their special rights? From what non-malays have been seeing since the past till now, only the rich and powerful are enjoying it. The poor malays are still poor. How many poor malays were transformed from poverty to middle class?
Sure, what you talk about your experience might be true if you put it in a nutshell. You cite examples of success stories and cases which is what it should be. But don't use special rights to deny a fellow deserving Malaysian of that chance too.
If you don't trust your fellow countrymen, whom in the world are you going to put your faith into?
The reasons have been given, countless in fact. And I believe you can also see it for yourself what kind of state Malaysia is in now. No unity, no improvement in the competitiveness in Malaysia.
I believe no community will get stronger if it depends on protection all the time. In face of globalization, each one must pull its own weight but work as a team. Otherwise we go down together.
Never in the entire history of Malaysia that its citizens feel so hopeless for having such a hypocrite sleepy prime minister! Time to vote Umno out in the coming election!

As much as the malays do not like the "Orang Putih". These "Orang Putih" built infrastructures and schools for Malaysia. Yes, they did have an economic agenda, but on the whole, it is believed that they did more good than harm.
Now, please read "Melayu Journal" published by Dewan Bahasa Pustaka 2005. It clearly states that the "contract" which you speak so lovingly of, was issued only for a duration of 15 years.
It was tagged under the NEP. Since the NEP failed miserably, it was "extended" under a new name called the NVP. When that failed too, it has once again been "extended" under the new name of the NDP. In a nutshell, it has failed for 50 years.
Don't the malays smell something amiss here? Put in perspective, our Malaysia government has publicly announced to the world, that despite targeted government aid for half a century, the malays are so hopeless, stupid and useless that they still cannot fend for themselves.
Think hard not with emotion, but look at the fact. This fact is very very embarrassing for Malaysia. As it says that the malays are not able to succeed despite being given aid for half a century.
Back to more serious business: The NEP, NVP and NDP or by whatever name you call it tomorrow. So for 50 years, it has "dished out" money to the malays. Realistically, how many of you received that money?
Except for the elite few who sit on the "high and mighty" seats of the government. And that is why, to continue to receive that "special bumi aid" money, they have to insist that there is racial tension in the country. In fact, they promote it by virtue of fact that "race-based organizations" still exist till today.
The Orang Asli also fall into the bumi category. They arrived here 60000 years ago (mind you, the first Indonesian arrival was only 3000 years ago).
Jabatan Orang Asli has been "actively" helping them for the past 50 years. They still live in the jungle. Where I may ask, has that allocated money gone to? Many proponents have insisted that Jabatan Orang Asli has been "helping themselves" instead.
Go to any Orang Asli settlement and see it for yourself.
Your money. Take it back. Or forever live like paupers.
Sad to say without the Chinese and other non-malay races in Malaysia and Indonesia, the region will be the backwater of Southeast Asia.
The malays cannot stand on their own feet. Just compare the GDP contribution of non-malays present and past against the malays.

The original concept of NEP is laudable, but along the way it has been politicised by Umno aspirants. Yes, Tun Razak spelt out it was not to rob A to pay B. The formula was to expand the economic cake.
From what I see there is no sincerity among the malay leadership to uplift the malay masses. To deflect this discrepancy, non-malays are always used as the scapegoat and tarred as a threat to malay interests.
Malaysia needs malays to be successful. But why the great divide within the malay community in terms of income parity after close to 40 years of NEP?
You blame the implementation instead of the policy. But who are the implementers? Not the non-malays by any stretch of imagination. It is all your corrupt leaders robbing you all blind in the name of Ketuanan Melayu.
Again, you have to look at the leaders you have which glaringly show populism to seek self-interest is the mark of their leadership.
Economists of capitalism has long know a non secret recipe of a successful economy is best practised by non-interference of the authorities, a set policy like NEP is bound to failed in the first place! We might as well rely on the rule of communism rather than NEP!
We should from now on apply the rule of totally non-interference free economy in Malaysia economy, government shall only maintain the basic rules of law and providing a basic social net, and its function stop here! Let the economy run as free as it should, by merit!
Look at China and India, how they open up their economy and prosperous! Let the poor countryman to prosperous at later stage, at the meanwhile teach them how to fish, not give them the fish! Sooner or later, they will know how to fish!

This country was all along a land for Orang Asli. The Chinese originated from China, Indians originated from India, Malays originated from Indonesia etc. China gets to give priority to the Chinese, India get to give priority to Indians and the malays are just freeloading from the Orang Asli land by claming it is bumi land.

So when is Malaysia giving priorities to Orang Asli? The only time Malaysia is not a racist country is when an Orang Asli becomes the prime minister of Malaysia - which is never - it is a genocide in the name of Allah!
Yes, it is good that China will one day become a superpower and I am very proud of it too - as a Chinese. That goes too for India and I am glad it too will become a superpower.
By the way, don't be a katak, many businessmen friends I have are already having trading relationships with China, Singapore etc. Most with China, it is good money there if one is careful and knows the opportunities.
We don't have to return there, we can go anywhere. Today is global you know. We return here for rest and visit friends.
Most make their money and keep outside the country - you know la to help the NEP. Not to have too much money in Malaysia to be counted as non-malay assets. Otherwise how can malays catch up with thousands of overseas Malaysian Chinese earning millions!
Mind you, many of those top graders who are working overseas are earning many times more! My own niece is making in the region of 100000 pound sterling per year at the age of only 30!
Actually Malaysian pay is very low compared to the West just like Indonesian pay is very much lower than Malaysian. So the lucky ones are enjoying their fruits of their labour.
It is ok, we are helping to ensure NEP a success by decrease our percentage of wealth.
I think these idiotic Umno ministers have a competition going on as to who is the biggest idiot, that is why everyday one of them comes out with an idiotic statement.
