The art of Words

Ecclesiates 6:11
"The more the words, the less the meaning, and how does that profit anyone? "

I came across this verse last night. It was very interesting because it rang to me twice this week to give a deeper thought about it. I found it difficult to master what we always called "straight to the point". When i see those acupuncture master, i think they demostrate a very good lesson to all of us. To cure, is to the point with pressure; whereas your work may be in vain if your pressure is on the surrounding area, or even worsen the condition. I was in discussion with my colleagues and also with my family, and a lot of time we strayed away and losing the focus. Be Focus is the key. And hereby God asked us to be clean at the words, not the length of words as it has no profit to anyone. Nagging is the negative effect of this and therefore get the bad feeling of people who got nagged. I am one of those that i will do whatever it takes to avoid a "nagging" from someone because it makes me feel very impatient and very uncontrollable !! haha

Wish that you all keep this verse in mind and always be reminded of yourself. No matter if you are in a meeting discussion or in typing an email (like what i am now??!!!) Got to straight to the point, ya!

The Anti Aging

Last night i went for my scheduled facial. Very relaxing, and felt the excitement of the extraction of dirty stuff from my face.... feel great but painful and kept me wondering how many had i built them up in the past 2 months? By end of the session, my beautician actually recommended me to get on Anti-Aging product. I would say, never in my life that ever someone came and tell me about "Anti-Aging" and here it was. The young little girl who just said out naturally, that i should. Oh my! Realising that i am at the age to do Anti-Aging, versus the kind of activity or my behavior just not in proportion! Ha Ha! I am not offended but thought for a while. God said in Ecclesiates 3:1-3 "There is a time for everything; and a season for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot; a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build"

So i concluded Aging is a natural process in timely manner. Several years ago i watched CSI and one of the episode quoted that "Aging is an illness" and woman are searching fanatically to get the cure of aging. If Aging is an illness, won't that mean i am getting 'illness' worsen everyday even when i was growing up? So why people are so cheer up about a child being grown up and matured???

Respect your Quality of Daily Life

Due to the training and meetings going on, i had been in and out of office several times this week and not able to update this blog. This is Friday afternoon , 5:30pm and colleagues are packing up stuff to leave for the weekend. "Weekend" really a buzz words for everybody. People get excited when it comes to weekend, for different reasons. For me, I have more appetite to meals on Friday - a day before weekend just because knowing that tomorrow is Saturday. I don't know why, but to me the rules of thumb always be "respect the quality of your life" This doesn't mean that you have to spend money to go vacations or cruise. To me, a coffee break at Starbucks for couple hours, alone, reading favorite magazines, or just observing or be imaginative, will make my day!

As usual, I like to greet on Friday evening like this,"HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!"

The smell of Lily

Today our office level has changed the flowers to Lily. The fragrance is so strong that whenever i pass by the aisle in and out of our office, i felt i am entering into a garden. With the closed door behind me, everything was shut off, no fragrance smell, but a cold and icy office with no more than 5 people talking.

People like to stay in their comfort zone. As in like what kind of arrangement of their desk is, where the pile the file is, and where the stapler is, etc, etc. Whenever somebody take over the desk or rearrange anything on the desk, they felt intruded. Although it is a free sitting style, people still tend to settle down where they sit yesterday. Gosh..... did anyone appreciate the smell of the lily outside the closed door ? Which is such a beautiful setting and refresh you up even when you just walk pass by? Comfort zone can be a locked door, or an open door. When it is an open swing door, we can smell the scent of lily coming towards us and it really works to revitalize and to refresh.

Thanks to the janitor who changes the flower every week.

Plastics today

It was an aweful conversation with a guy last nite. And it fact it was about money factor in our society today. What a pathetic world that 9 out 10 people around us make living just to pay of plastics today? La vie est ...? Got friend wanna get married, no money, but they still happy go lucky, and put all the bills on plastic. It is a right way to do it? I mean after all the celebration, it all comes back to having debts on your hand that took so many months and years to get rid of?

However to me, i think it is valid. The cost of living so high now, that the incoming earning is always slower than the outgoing expenses. Relying on plastic is no longer a 'choice' per se, but a neccessity for people who really want to get things done in efficient way. I wonder who still in this city not having credit balance on their plastics? I kind of squirt off about it.
